Cold Stone Creamery for choosing our neighborhood volunteer group
to be a part of their Grand Opening fundraiser. The fundraiser was a
great success and over $400.00 was raised during the March 17th
event.
A heartfelt thanks to the owner Karren Antonyan and the manager
Joe Arroyo who visited our website and appreciated our efforts in
trying to embellish and preserve our community.
The money will be well spent on the numerous projects now in the

The Grand Opening of Atwater Village’s own Cold Stone Creamery is this Thursday, March 17th! 20% of the sales
generated on the store’s Grand Opening Day will be donated to Friends of Atwater Village.
Friends of Atwater Village a, 501 (C) 3 non profit, volunteer community group was founded in 2000 by a group of
concerned citizens who work to protect the integrity of the entire Atwater Village community by preserving and promoting
local landmarks like the Van de Kamps Bakery, the Hyperion Bridge and the Los Angeles River, as well as encouraging
community involvement in neighborhood cleanups.
Cold Stone Creamery delivers The Ultimate Ice Cream Experience, which is carried through by a community of
franchisees passionate about ice cream. The secret recipe for smooth and creamy ice cream is handcrafted fresh daily
in each store and then customized by combining a variety of mix-ins on a frozen granite stone. For more information,
