Lummis Day Planning Meeting, Tuesday, 7 PM at Sycamore Grove Pk
The next meeting of the Lummis Day Organizing Committee will take place on Tuesday, 3/27.
Please note that the meeting will take place at a new time and place: we'll meet at 7:00 p.m. at Sycamore Grove Park's Sousa-Hiner bandshell (4900 N. Figueroa Street).
First topic on the agenda will be the "footprint" of the June 3 Sycamore Grove event, staging, tenting, parking, placement of restaurants, sanitary facilities, community tables, artist exhibition areas and the location of the second stage.
Following our discussion--to be attended by a Dept. of Recreation and Parks representative--we'll adjourn to Ramona Hall for the rest of the agenda. Items for discussion include:
-May 5 fundraiser (ticket sales, volunteers).
-Library, school, church, SW Museum participation.
-T-shirts and posters.
-advertising.
-website.
Anyone wishing to participate in Festival planning is welcome to attend.
